Margie is happy to announce to all of her friends, fans, fellow artists and musical aquaintenances, that she is retiring……from full time work, that is.
Margie is taking early retirement from the fast paced, often stressful work of the medical staff office. She is joining her husband, Paul in retirement. Paul has been in the Commercial Diving Industry for over 36 years and took a well-deserved retirement at the end of 2004.
Margie and Paul found their little piece of heaven in a small town in east Texas. They bought a house in a peaceful little community overlooking Lake Livingston. This will move them away from the potential hurricane threats of the New Orleans area and put them both near things they love. Margie will have more opportunities to sing and perform with the abundance of Country Music venues available in Texas, which are missing in the New Orleans area.
Meanwhile, Paul can “catch” up on some fishing, however Margie says he’s not going without her. (She got a new fishing pole for Christmas)
They also plan to take a cruise and make a long trip in their motorhome in late spring, early summer. Afterwards, Margie plans more Opry appearances and doing some recording of her first love …….. Traditional Country Music.
Thanks for coming to visit my website. During your stay here, we'll get to
know each other and you'll see how much I love country music. My website is updated often,
so visit again soon to see where I'll be on stage in the future and lots of other bits
of information about me and my singing career.
Oh and by the way, please visit
Redd Stewart's website. I was recently
honored by being chosen as having the best version of Redd's song 'Tennessee Waltz'.
